INVISALIGN MODERATE LONDON

An aesthetically pleasing aligned position for teeth with varying complexity and conditions can be achieved with the highly advanced Invisalign orthodontic treatment at Piccadilly Dental. This is achieved by combining 3D-scanning, 3D-printer, and artificial intelligence technologies to create a series of clear plastic aligners. Invisalign aligners, sometimes known as clear braces, straighten teeth, which enhances their function and makes maintaining good oral hygiene much simpler.

Short-term orthodontic systems, like Invisalign and other comparable clear brace technologies like SureSmileTM, move teeth quickly while maintaining a high level of predictability and safety. It is intended for general dentists and orthodontists with specialised training to offer these systems.

We are pleased to offer this orthodontic treatment to our patients in London and the surrounding areas at Piccadilly Dental thanks to the expertise and leadership of our team. We also take pride in offering our patients SureSmileR orthodontic treatment.

WHAT ARE THE WORKINGS OF CLEAR BRACES/INVISALIGN ALIGNERS?

A 3D scan of the patient's teeth, some pictures, and an X-ray are first taken for the patient's records. Clincheck Videos? are 3D computer graphics created by Invisalign? using advanced artificial intelligence computer technology that has been trained by millions of people who have already received treatment with the system.

A series of precisely fitting aligners are created from these graphics via 3D printing technology. As shown in the Clincheck VideoTM, wearing each set of aligners allows the teeth to move into the desired position by a predetermined amount and gets them ready for the next set. To get the desired outcome, more aligners will be required the more complex the tooth movement and the more complex the teeth.

WHAT IS MODERATE INVISALIGN?

Introduced by Invisalign technology, the most recent sophisticated, accurate, and user-friendly aligner system for adult patients is the Invisalign Moderate.

During an Invisalign treatment, the number of aligners needed depends on the severity of the misaligned teeth and the type of tooth movement required. The longer it takes to complete the Invisalign treatment and, consequently, the higher the patient costs, the more aligners that are required. The following groups currently comprise InvisalignTM's service offerings:

Seven sets of top and bottom aligners are possible with Invisalign Express, also known as i7.

The maximum number of top and bottom aligner sets for Invisalign Lite is 14.

With a maximum of 20 sets of top and bottom aligners, Invisalign Moderate is the most recent classification of the Invisalign treatment.

When more than 20 sets of top and bottom aligners are required, use Invisalign Comprehensive or Full.

The Invisalign Comprehensive option would have been much more expensive for the patient than the Lite option if a case of treatment required more than 14 aligners, or 15 aligners, to get the best results. We can now treat patients for less money than with the Invisalign Comprehensive option thanks to Invisalign Moderate, which comes with up to 20 aligners.

HOW MUCH DOES A LONDON-BASED INVISALIGN MODERATE TREATMENT COST?

Like any other dental procedure, Invisalign treatment varies in price depending on the clinic. The intricacy of the procedure, the quantity of aligners required to complete a course of treatment, the number of appointments, and the time it takes to reach a good outcome.

Before an Invisalign course is finished, several dental appointments are required. We have implemented fixed fee special offer packages for some of our Invisalign treatments for the convenience of our central London-based Piccadilly Dental Invisalign patients. This improves clarity for our patients and makes it simpler for them to understand the costs associated with Invisalign so they can more confidently plan their finances. Moderate Cost of Invisalign and Available Payment Options

At Piccadilly Dental, we've introduced three different payment options to better assist our patients with their Invisalign treatment.

FIRST OPTION: PAY AS YOU GO

The following costs are payable by the patient once the Invisalign process starts:

  • - For the Invisalign Clinicheck video setup, the first payment of £400 is due.
  • - When the patient approves the video and requests that the aligners be made, the second payment of £899 is due.
  • - Until the full cost of the Invisalign treatment is paid, third payments of £350 will be made every four to eight weeks.
  • - The price of the third installment will differ based on the Invisalign package.
  • - The Invisalign Lite package is available in four £425 installments.
  • - The six £425 installments that make up the Invisalign Moderate package offer.
  • - The eight payments of £425 make up the Invisalign Comprehensive package offer.

SECOND OPTION: A ZERO-INTEREST LOAN FOR EIGHTEEN MONTHS

  • - For all or a portion of the cost of their Invisalign treatment, patients may apply for an 18-month, 0% finance loan.
  • - The clinic assists with the application process but does not participate in or have any say over the funding approval procedure.
  • - After checking the applicant's credit history, the bank determines whether to approve the loan.
  • - As soon as the application is accepted, the patient starts sending monthly payments to the bank.

An 18-month application would, for instance, typically cost the following each month:

  • - Monthly cost of £144 for the Invisalign Lite package.
  • - £183 a month for the Moderate Invisalign package.
  • - For the Invisalign Complete Package; £205 per month.

THIRD OPTION: IF THE ENTIRE AMOUNT IS PAID IN ADVANCE, RECEIVE 5% OFF.

By paying the full cost of treatment up front, patients are eligible for a 5% discount.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY PICCADILLY DENTAL'S SPECIAL INVISALIGN PACKAGE OFFERS IN LONDON?

Certain necessary treatments are not covered by our special offer Invisalign packages.

- The price of any necessary dental care or cleaning appointments. Prior to beginning any orthodontic treatment, the patient must be in good dental health and have healthy gum tissue. We highly advise visiting your dentist for a dental examination if it has been six months since your last appointment before beginning Invisalign treatment. Of course, if you would like, we can perform a dental examination for you. The cost of the examination, x-rays, and hygiene visits is listed on the fee page.

- Clincheck VideoR replacement is required and new aligners will need to be made if, for ANY reason, the aligners become unfit in the middle of the treatment plan. A fixed fee of £500 is required for this procedure, which is known as mid-course correction and is not covered by special offer packages. We have found that patients who do not adhere to the recommended wear schedule for their aligners are the most frequent cause of mid-course corrections.

- After an Invisalign treatment, a new Clincheck Video and a new set of aligners will be ordered if, for any reason, more aligners are required to achieve the desired results. This basically means that the Invisalign procedure has to be started over, and the £500 fixed cost is not covered by the special package deals. Refinement or Additional Aligners are the terms used to describe this. Serving as a sort of insurance, this allows our patient to receive a second course of treatment at a significantly discounted cost of £500 in the event that optimal outcomes are not obtained during the initial course of treatment.

- In the event that any set of aligners is misplaced or damaged, a £150 replacement cost will be charged.

- In the event that the patient wishes to explore it, the dentist can recommend Vivera retainers in addition to top and bottom fixed retainers for an additional £350 to further minimise the likelihood of teeth moving again. In an effort to lower the possibility of teeth shifting again, orthodontic chains or wires are bonded to the backs of the top and bottom 4-6 teeth.

WHAT ARE CLEAR RETAINER BRACES, OR RETAINER BRACES IN GENERAL? WHAT DISTINGUISHES IT FROM THE CLEAR ALIGNER BRACE?

Since they are both made of clear plastic, clear retainer braces and clear aligner braces may seem similar, but they are very different from one another in principle. When using clear aligners, teeth can be moved within the jawbone to alter their position; retainers are only intended to keep teeth in place. By contrast, a clear aligner brace is a dynamic device, while a clear retainer brace is static.

Invisalign Aligners and Vivera RetainersTM differ from one another, as an illustration of this. Both are constructed of transparent plastics that are similar in nature, but Invisalign aligners are used to move teeth during a course of treatment by swapping out the aligners for new ones until the last one is used. Conversely, Vivera Retainers are intended to minimise the chance of teeth shifting after an orthodontic treatment, such as Invisalign, is completed. They are used to keep teeth in their original positions.

Essix retainers are another type of clear plastic retainer that is only used at night. Like Vivera RetainersTM, Essix retainers are removable.

An alternative type of retainer is a fixed retainer, which is a wire or orthodontic chain that is cemented to the back of the top and bottom front teeth. They are fixed to the teeth, as their name suggests, and cannot be removed. They have the benefit of being permanent, but they also have the drawback of typically only covering the front four to six teeth and leaving the remaining teeth unretained. Plaque retention is increased by fixed retainers, which is another drawback.

WHAT CONDITIONS CAN INVISALIGN TREAT? HOW DOES INVISALIGN COMPARE TO METAL BRACES IN TERMS OF ADVANTAGES?

CROWDING

When the jaw is too small to hold all of the teeth in place, it is referred to as crowding. Teeth that are pushed out of the arch lines or overlap each other due to differences in the size of the teeth in relation to the size of the jaws in an individual cause this.

GAPS BETWEEN THE TEETH

Contrary to crowded teeth, gaps between teeth are effectively the opposite. Once more, the teeth are not large enough in relation to the size of the jaw, resulting in a disparity between the two sizes. Tooth alignment can be excellent in this case, but there will still be a lot of space between them.

OVERBITE

When the upper front teeth cover and overlap the lower front teeth excessively, the condition is referred to as an overbite. In certain instances, the lower front teeth are completely hidden, and in more extreme situations, the top front teeth pierce the lower jaw's gums and cause trauma and gum damage.

UNDERBITE

The word "underbite" refers to the situation in which the upper front teeth are misaligned and fall behind the lower front teeth when a person closes their mouth and bites. This condition is known as Class III malocclusion in dentistry, and the Invisalign aligner system can treat mild cases of it.

CROSSBITE

One or more upper jaw teeth that erupt on the incorrect side of the lower teeth is known as a crossbite. Cross bite is a condition that can be linked to a few front teeth individually or to a large group of back teeth. Aligner devices can be used to treat mild to moderate cases of cross bite.

OPENBITE

When a person closes their mouth and tries to bite, they will have an openbite, which is identified by the top and bottom front teeth not reaching each other and resulting in a gap of different degrees. In childhood, thumb sucking frequently has this effect. The alignment systems can make corrections or improvements.

IN TERMS OF COMPARISON WITH TRADITIONAL METAL BRACES, THE BENEFITS OF ALIGNER BRACES, LIKE INVISALIGN, ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • - Less appointments might be required. For a new set of aligners and their replacement, there's no need to visit the clinic.
  • - More easily adjusted to and custom-made aligners. Braces made of ceramic or metal are far more difficult to tolerate.
  • - Better than metal braces in terms of comfort and ease. The patients who have used both systems have indicated.
  • - The therapy is discreet. These are the least noticeable orthodontic treatment options in terms of appearance.
  • - Compared to orthodontic braces, treatment may be completed faster.
  • - Thanks to their precise and targeted design, aligners can only move the teeth you want them to. Comparing this to traditional braces, where teeth are moved by wires, can lead to more efficient movement of each tooth and a shorter treatment duration overall.

The aligners are take-out. This has various advantages over traditional braces that are cemented to the teeth:

  • - Simpler to maintain teeth because traditional braces can be very challenging to clean.
  • - In order to eat, you should remove.
  • - You can maintain your regular healthy diet without modifying the types of food you eat because this makes chewing food easier. You can drink water alone without taking off your aligners.

WHAT SITUATIONS MAKE INVISALIGN A POOR CHOICE FOR ORTHODONTICS? WHICH ALIGNER SYSTEM IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO INVISALIGN?

In the event that the patient wishes to explore it, the dentist can recommend Vivera retainers in addition to top and bottom fixed retainers for an additional £350 to further minimise the likelihood of teeth moving again. In an effort to lower the possibility of teeth shifting again, orthodontic chains or wires are bonded to the backs of the top and bottom 4-6 teeth.

According to Invisalign?, Invisalign aligners can now treat any orthodontic case that was previously treated with traditional orthodontic braces and wires. Another clear aligner system, SureSmileR, was created specifically for use by orthodontists, making it one of the most advanced systems available. It makes similar claims to Invisalign, and in many respects, it may even be more capable of straightening teeth than the latter.

Nonetheless, in actuality, based on our observations, short-term orthodontic treatments like InvisalignTM are superior to orthodontic braces and wires with predictable results when teeth straightening can be accomplished through the tilting and back and forth movement of the tooth crown. Contrarily, traditional metal or ceramic braces and wires can be more effective, quicker, and more predictable in terms of the course of treatment when teeth movement is required, such as when significant movement of the teeth's roots in the jawbone or when significant tooth extrusion is required for alignment.
